**MAX - A big-hearted Rottweiler to tame** - The Rottweiler

Max is a magnificent male Rottweiler, with a frank look and imposing stature, who waits with hope for a family capable of understanding his history and finally offering him the stability he deserves.

This strong-tempered dog has spent much of his life alone, locked away in a garage. Despite his difficult past, Max has a great capacity to adapt and is eager to be trusted again.

**His qualities**
Max is housebroken, has good control of his needs and doesn't make a mess. He tolerates solitude quite well, even if he's had too much of it. He doesn't mind traveling by car (even if you sometimes have to encourage him to do so).

**What you need to know**
Max is a dog who needs a clear framework and a suitable environment. He pulls hard on the leash and can display dominant or hyper-aroused behaviors that need to be managed. He's a stubborn dog who has trouble calming his frustration. In fact, he didn't enjoy his visit to the vet at all! Fortunately, Max tolerates a muzzle very well.

**His ideal home
Max needs a garden in which to exercise and thrive. He can't live in an apartment.
A calm family with good physical condition and some experience of temperamental dogs would be ideal. Small children are out of the question. Max could live with other animals (cats or dogs), but this would need to be supervised, progressive and well thought-out.

**An appeal to those who understand
Max isn't a dog for everyone, but for the right person, he'll be a loyal, sensitive and deeply endearing companion. If you recognize yourself in this profile and want to give Max the life he deserves, **please give us a call**. He's waiting for you, somewhere between strength and tenderness.
