KILEBO came to our shelter with four other horses following a foreclosure. Their former owner had failed to provide them with sufficient care and food, and the fences on their property were in very poor condition, allowing the horses to escape regularly to forage in nearby fields. Despite several warnings, no improvements were made.
KILEBO is a gentle, inquisitive horse, known for his calm temperament. In the herd, he gets on well with other horses, even if he can be a little shy with some. However, as soon as he feels confident, KILEBO reveals a mischievous and playful side, especially with the companions he likes best. His caring nature and pleasant disposition make him a valuable member of the group, always ready to explore and have fun when he's comfortable.
None of our horses may be ridden or used for commercial purposes.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
