IDLEWOOD is a horse with a storied past, seized one summer evening in the streets of Brussels. That evening, his owner, well known to the police, was again drunk on his back, even attempting to carry him up the metro stairs loaded with a second person. This irresponsible act was one time too many, and IDLEWOOD was finally rescued.
IDLEWOOD is an elderly horse of great kindness and calm nature. He suffers from Cushing's disease, which requires lifelong treatment. Due to teething problems, he also needs a special diet. IDLEWOOD is very gentle with his companions, easily integrating into a group while enjoying the company of other horses.
He deserves a peaceful retirement, surrounded by care and affection. We're looking for a loving home that will give him the peace and comfort he deserves, after all he's been through. IDLEWOOD will reward you with his gentleness and soothing companionship.
None of our horses may be ridden or used for commercial purposes.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
