COCA is a magnificent male Persian cross, with gentle eyes and a personality as touching as it is unique. This sensitive dog had a very close relationship with his former master: a real glue pot... but in his own way. COCA loves human presence, but not invasive contact. Cuddles on the head, yes; on the belly, especially not. He needs us to respect his rhythm and his space, and he's very good at doing his own thing.
Qualities :
Very clean, exemplary cleanliness: he refuses to use a soiled litter tray and prefers impeccable litter. Several litter boxes are recommended to avoid stress.
Independent but attached to its human: it likes to be close, without being handled.
Can live in an apartment without problems.
Tolerates solitude very well.
Tolerates calm dogs (lived with a Dachshund).
Tolerates cats, even if he prefers to be the only feline in the household.
Minor weaknesses:
Doesn't like children: needs a calm, predictable environment.
Transport in a cage is very stressful for him (stress pee/poo).
Dislikes excessive handling.
We don't know if he'd appreciate a garden, as he doesn't go out.
COCA's ideal home:
COCA will thrive with adopters who are gentle, patient and respectful of his need for independence. A quiet, child-free home, where he can develop at his own pace, would be perfect for him. He'd be perfect for a person or couple looking for a quiet, discreet but deeply engaging companion.
