MISS BELGIQUE was seized for negligence along with fifteen of her congeners. On the very day of the seizure, she gave birth to a magnificent filly, Pepermint. Despite several warnings, her former owners had done nothing to improve the living conditions of their horses, which led to the seizure.
MISS BELGIQUE is a kind, calm and gentle mare who enjoys human company. However, in moments of panic or stress, she can be brutal, a reaction due to her difficult past and her need for reassurance.
She is very familiar with social codes and integrates perfectly into a group. Her sociable nature makes her a pleasant companion for her peers.
We're looking for a loving, patient home for MISS BELGIQUE, where she can continue to flourish in complete confidence. With people who can understand her reactions and offer her a serene environment, MISS BELGIQUE will express all her natural gentleness and become a loyal and affectionate companion.
None of our horses may be ridden or used for commercial purposes.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
