RACHEL had a difficult experience prior to her arrival at our shelter, when she was seized and removed from a deplorable environment. She was part of a group of cattle living in a dump meadow, a place full of garbage and desperately short of food.
When she arrived, she was completely wild and very fearful, to the point of being dangerous at times. However, thanks to the attentive and patient care of our carers, RACHEL gradually changed. She became increasingly calm, showing signs of confidence. Today, RACHEL is a gentle, peaceful cow, both with humans and with her fellow creatures, showing how love and kindness can transform even the most traumatized animals.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
