BRENDA came to the shelter after being seized following a case of severe mistreatment. She was living with several other cattle in an unsanitary stall filled with excrement. These poor cows were tied to a chain only 50 centimetres long, facing a wall, without ever being able to get out.
When she first came to us, BRENDA was very wary of the caretakers, marked by her difficult past. But with time and the care she received, she completely overcame this mistrust. Today, she trusts the humans completely and seems to enjoy their company. As for the other cattle, BRENDA makes it clear to them that she is the leader, assertively asserting herself while maintaining harmony in the herd.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
