LOUISE is a sow who was abandoned by her owner when she moved to Canada. Having been raised as a dog, LOUISE lived inside a house and even slept in a bed. Her arrival at the shelter was a real upheaval for her, as she had to learn a whole new way of life. Her integration with other pigs was also an ordeal, as LOUISE had never lived with her own kind before.
Learning to live with other pigs took time, but today LOUISE has completely adapted to her real life as a pig. Despite this adaptation, she has remained aloof with humans, no doubt due to the difficult transition. Today, LOUISE is fully enjoying her life at the shelter, having found her place among the other pigs.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific and have access to water.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
