MAYA, a little dog with a big heart, is looking for her forever family
Maya is an adorable Chihuahua who’s bursting with affection and wants only one thing: to share her daily life with loving people. A true little bundle of affection, she loves being close to people and especially enjoys cuddle time on someone’s lap. Quiet and calm, she isn’t the type to bark at the drop of a hat, which makes her a pleasure to live with.
House-trained and able to be left alone without any particular difficulty, Maya also handles car rides very well. Travel doesn’t seem to faze her—she even enjoys them as little getaways!
She gets along well with other dogs; she previously lived with another dog, CHIPIE, and they got along very well. That’s why we’d like her to be adopted along with CHIPIE, a little bulldog with a tender heart.
As for cats, unfortunately we don’t have any information yet.
Maya is used to living in a home with a yard, and having one would be a real plus for her well-being, though it’s not an absolute requirement. A house with a secure outdoor area would be ideal, but adoption into an apartment could be considered under certain conditions, provided she gets regular walks and a suitable environment.
As for children, Maya has already lived with two young children without any problems. However, her difficult past should be taken into account: having been abused in the past, she may sometimes react by “snapping” if she feels uncomfortable or startled. She does not intend to bite, but her future adopters will need to be understanding, gentle, and respectful of her boundaries.

People willing to respect her past and give her time to blossom with confidence.
A home with a yard would be a welcome asset.
Calm children who are respectful of animals, under adult supervision.
After the hardships she has endured, Maya finally deserves to experience a peaceful life surrounded by love. In return, she will offer you all the tenderness and loyalty that this endearing little dog is capable of.
