Luna is a real bundle of energy, overflowing with affection. She adores people, craves cuddles, loves to play, and is always seeking attention. She’s a sensitive dog who doesn’t always have the tools to manage her emotions—a vulnerability that stems from a past marked by abuse at the hands of a man. She needs patience, gentleness, and consistency to learn to trust again.

A yard is essential: Luna needs to burn off her excess energy through physical activity. Apartment living is not an option for her.
A reassuring presence: Luna has a very hard time coping with loneliness. Left to her own devices, her anxiety takes over, and she may become destructive if she feels neglected. A family that is present—or capable of gradually guiding her toward greater independence—will be essential to her well-being.
Car rides aren’t a problem on the highway, but winding roads can make her nauseous.

Luna does not get along with other dogs and can be very reactive, even on walks. She should therefore be the only dog in the household.
She is not compatible with cats.
When it comes to children, caution is advised: given her past and her difficulty managing her emotions, she is not recommended for households with young children, but she could thrive alongside older children in a calm and structured environment.
