BLUE: Blue was seized for neglect after being found in an unsecured meadow with several of her fellow conspecifics. After several warnings, the previous owners failed to take the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of the entire herd, leading the authorities to decide to seize them.
Her early days at the shelter were somewhat complicated, as she had to adapt to her new environment and the presence of the caretakers. However, with time and the attentive care of the teams, Blue found her place perfectly and adapted to her new life.
Today, Blue is a calm, docile mare who can be handled with ease, as long as the approach is gentle and respectful.
With her companions, Blue can at first be wary and sometimes dominant. However, once she has found her place in the herd and feels integrated, she gets on very well with them and her social relationships stabilize. She has a rather reserved character, but once she has gained confidence, she becomes a faithful and much-appreciated companion. She deserves a second chance in a loving, secure environment.
None of our horses may be ridden or used for commercial purposes.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
