SHAMAN came to the shelter following an animal welfare decision. He was living in a place where hygiene and care were totally absent, and we could see his unhappiness and sadness in his eyes. Today, all that is far behind him, and despite his difficult past, he feels no resentment towards humans.
SHAMAN is very gentle and affectionate, and particularly cuddly. Because of his age, he has teething problems and needs a special diet, as well as a special environment because of his laminitis. With other horses, SHAMAN is just the right buddy: cool and gentle, he's always appreciated in the herd.
None of our horses may be ridden or used for commercial purposes.
The animal must live with at least one other conspecific.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
