You can file a complaint online with the Animal Welfare Unit in the region where the animals concerned live. You will find below all the useful contact details, region by region, to access the pages dedicated to them. The complaint will be assessed promptly by the authorities and, depending on the urgency of the problem, will be followed by an on-site visit by a veterinary inspector who will have the power to take any decisions he deems appropriate (until the matter is seized and legal proceedings are initiated).

Don’t forget: if the complainant is required to disclose his or her identity, anonymity is guaranteed!
